…just in case anyone is reading this!
My
fast 5 is still ongoing and I'm still excited about this discovery. Throughout 2015 I used this lifestyle to maintain my
weight. I was not completely faithful but I always knew what to do… whenever I feast,
I fast☺. The goal was maintenance and I can proudly say it worked.
In
2016, the goal is different- spiritual alertness and weight loss. The goal is
to go one dress size down and maintain this all year; to lose 7kg in the first quarter
and maintain this all year round – so help me God!
I
have been more faithful with exercising; I now move more and I am accountable- I
ensure I have at least 10,000 step daily on my fitbit. This hasn’t been easy
but it always feel good afterwards.
Adding
Fast 5 to my exercise is the perfect combination for the 80/20 rule and that is
seeing weight loss as being about 80 percent of your diet and 20 percent about
exercise. What that means is that your food intake is substantially more
important than how much you exercise if you are trying to lose weight. I read somewhere
recently that you can’t compete with what you eat…so true!
With
achievable goals and a plan in place ……Hello 2016…I’m in charge!
